Design, UX, Development and support of an Umbraco CMS Website for a large UK and Eurpoean Insurance Broker.
Clear Insurance Management are a Chartered Insurance Broker that focuses on specialist insurance policies across a wide range of sectors. Clear Insurance wanted an Umbraco Gold Partner to implement a new secure, easy to manage website for their business 2023.
The Client
CIM started in 2001 in New Malden. Over the past 2 decades the company has grown rapidly acquiring multiple insurance firms across the UK to provide specialist insurance. The company is now expanding into EU markets including Germany, Italy and Ireland.
The Brief
Clear Insurance Management engaged Appcentric in the summer of 2023 to design and build 2 new websites, one targeted at their consumer side of the business and the other related to the group. In addition the sites needed to carry new branding to better represent the company as it continued its growth strategy.
The Solution
Appcentric undertook a collaborative approach to designing the new websites, working closely with the CIM marketing and Sales teams to present ideas and further refine them until the design for the 2 websites were complete.
The websites were designed using a content block approach meaning CIM can easily add pages based on content that exists elsewhere within the sites. The sites were created using a base theme allowing for any future features to be added to both sites simultaneously.
Umbraco Cloud was chosen as the hosting platform for the sites due to its ability to preview content in a staging environment and then promote those changes to production at the push of a button.
The new websites have been well received by the Clear Group branches and we are looking forward to working with CIM as they continue their expansion into the European market.
